I started my career as programmer and webdeveloper in 1997 and I have been involved in web-related projects since that date. Along the years I worked in projects ranging from sophisticated Ajax/JavaScript application front-ends, to a wide range of database-driven applications and enterprise level CMS systems.
I can work either as end-to-end developer, covering architecture, database design and server-side programming using ColdFusion, or as a pure client-side developer, focusing on Ajax/JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
My advanced JavaScript skills date back to the late nineties, I've been able to learn and use all the major Ajax frameworks currently available. I developed real-world applications using jQuery, Dojo, Prototype, ExtJS and Spry; but I have some experience with YUI and MooTools as well. I wrote advanced JavaScript libraries on my own; most of them are available as free download from massimocorner.com. Among them "TMT Validator", an integrated solution for form validation, has been used in a large amount of projects world-wide.
In past years I also wrote popular, award-winning, extensions for Macromedia Dreamweaver. While this is really a niche market, the experience proved invaluable since it refined my ability to design and support large JavaScript codebases long before Ajax emerged in the market.
I have been developing database-driven applications using ColdFusion since 1999. A selection of ColdFusion components, custom tags and UDFs I wrote are available as free download from my website. Additional material is on cflib.org and riaforge.org. I am deeply involved in the ColdFusion community and I am the manager of the Italian ColdFusion user group (cfmentor)
